Max Herbert
Max has extensive experience at senior managerial level in the UK and overseas power industries during a career that included 10 years with National Power, a FTSE 100 company and the largest of three generation companies created following the privatisation of the Central Electricity Generating Board (CEGB).
At the time of privatisation, National Power produced 43% of the UK’s electricity and employed more than 18,000 people. As Company Secretary, General Counsel and Regional Director (Asia) of National Power, Max played a pivotal role in the establishment of strong corporate governance, the development of corporate strategy, contract negotiation, international business, and due to his excellent communication skills, investor relations.
